This year, women's rights are on the ballot. Erika believes deeply that all women must have the freedom to make their own personal reproductive healthcare decisions without government overreach. She will be an unwavering advocate for protecting women's constitutional rights, increasing access to comprehensive reproductive care and education, and fighting back against extreme attacks on women's bodily autonomy.

Erika Robinson-Watkins is a woman of faith, family, and unwavering devotion to serving her community. As an ordained minister, her life's work has been guided by the principles of lifting up the vulnerable and being a voice for the underserved.
After 17 years with the same stagnant representation, it's time for real change in Indiana's 4th District. Watkins is a tireless advocate committed to uplifting every family through bold leadership on the issues that matter most.
As a member of the Valparaiso Community School Board, Erika has worked endlessly to protect the most vulnerable, emphasize diversity, equity and inclusion for all students and staff, and champion policies that strengthen public education across Indiana. She understands that investing in our schools today creates boundless opportunities for tomorrow.
Erika's priorities are crystal clear: confronting the mental health crisis here in Indiana head-on, expanding job training and apprenticeship programs to create good-paying careers close to home, safeguarding reproductive rights under attack, reining in soaring utility and housing costs, and protecting our remaining wetlands from unchecked development.
But most importantly, Erika will always listen to the voices of working families in the district, not corporate special interests. After years of the majority party's partisanship and stagnation, imagine the progress we can make with Erika's energetic leadership. A dedicated mother of two, Talyn (21) and Terrance II (18), Erika knows firsthand the financial struggles Hoosier families face. From her humble beginnings to building a career while raising children with her husband of 24 years Rev. Terrance Jamal Watkins Sr., Erika has lived the same burdens weighing on families across the 4th District. Her lived experience drives her passion for creating opportunities that ease those burdens.
